Can I create several templates on the same Google spreadsheet tab?

Yes, you can create several templates on the same spreadsheet tab.
1. Go to section #2 (Change Pull Settings) of the template
2. Select the position of the template “Start Cell Address”
3. Uncheck the check box “Create a new sheet”
4. Execute the template.

How to remove the schedule in a single Google Sheet?

Follow these steps:

Go to the "Automatic Operations Events Log" tab
Select your specific table within your Google Sheet
Click on the link (template name) and go to the "Schedule Refresh" section
Remove the schedule

I am trying to upload Bills using G-Accon. How should I map the fields?

To upload Bills using the Invoice option, follow these steps:

Add an extra mandatory column "type" with the value "ACCPAY" for bills (or "ACCREC" for invoices).
Add an extra mandatory column "Status" with the values "DRAFT" or "AUTHORIZED" (not "PAID").
Add an extra mandatory column "Line Amount Types" with values "INCLUSIVE" or "EXCLUSIVE".
Add Line Items, Tax Type, and Line Items.
Tax Amount is not required as "Line Items.Account Code" has that information.

How I can create multi-line sales invoices for upload?

How to create dynamic data refresh for Aged Receivables report?

  1. Link the Report Date to a Google Spreadsheet cell using the function =today().
  2. Enter =today() in any cell (can be any date depending on your use case).
  3. Click on the icon next to the report date field, select the cell, and insert the reference into the Report Date by clicking the insert button. 
  4. Save the template. The report date will now be taken from the cell and the Aged Receivables report will be up to date. 

What are Google Account permissions for G-Accon and why are they necessary?

1. View and manage your spreadsheets in Google Drive
G-Accon requires this permission to write data into your spreadsheet and create a backup file if you choose the backup option.

 

2. Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars inside Google applications
G-Accon needs this permission to provide a user-friendly interface for navigating XERO/QBO data and modifying settings related to invoices, payments, reports, and more.

 

3. Granting permission for G-Accon to Run when you are not present enables automatic scheduled data refreshes.

 

4. Permission to Send email as you allows for real-time Xero/QBO data monitoring and automated report generation and alerts.

 

5. Access to Xero, QuickBooks, Sage Accounting API requires permission to Connect to an external service.

Does G-Accon have access to my Xero/QuickBooks/FreshBooks data?

No. G-Accon does not have access to your cloud accounting data. Connection to Xero or QuickBooks is established directly between your Google Sheets and Cloud Accounting platform using secure OAuth 2.0 protocol.

G-Accon uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology to encrypt any data interactions with third-party applications. This is the standard technology used to secure internet connections and protect sensitive data that is sent between two systems.

Does G-Accon have an access to my Google Drive?

No. G-Accon does not have access to your Google Drive documents.

What are the limitations of Google Sheets?

Google Sheets has a maximum limit of 2 million cells per spreadsheet. If you reach this limit, one possible solution is to remove any unused cells or create a new Google Spreadsheet.

What are the Quotas for Google Service?

Is it possible for me to control and limit my team members' access?

Yes. The following roles and privileges can be assigned to group users:

Read Only – the user has the ability to create standard and customized accounting templates, refresh manually, create workflows to set up the automatic refresh, and save templates to the cloud.

Execute Existing Templates Only – the user has the ability to execute the templates that have been shared with them.

Full Access – the user has the ability to create standard and customized accounting templates, refresh manually, create workflows to set up the automatic refresh, save templates to the cloud, and upload data in bulk from Google Spreadsheets to specific organization(s).

Full Access/Admin Rights – the user has the ability to create standard and customized accounting templates, refresh them manually, save templates to the cloud, upload data in bulk from Google Spreadsheets to Cloud Accounting platforms, create new users, and assign roles to new users.
